Meet the writers contributing to Italy Assist
I graduated in Legal Science in 2007 and afterwards obtained a Master's degree in Law in 2010 at the University of Milan. I then assisted the Private Law Professor at the same university by conducting exams in obligations and contract law, property law, inheritance law, and family law. In 2013, I passed the Bar exam, fully qualified as an Italian lawyer, and became a member of the Milan Bar Association. Later, I established my own law practice, focusing on Italian citizenship law and related legal matters, primarily working with American and British clients of Italian descent. After taking a couple of years off to dedicate time and energy to my family, I no longer practise as an Italian lawyer, and I now write this newsletter, with the aim of providing you with clear, accurate, and up-to-date information on Italian law. * * * Disclaimer: The content you find here offers general educational information on various aspects of Italian law. It does not constitute legal advice and does not replace a lawyer-client relationship. If you need legal assistance for your specific case, you must hire a legal professional. I am based in Edinburgh, but I qualified in Italy, not in the UK. I am not registered with the professional body and regulator for Scottish solicitors. I am no longer registered with the Milan Bar Association. I do not provide legal representation in court cases.
